Beekeeper with commercial beehives that produce honey from pollen gathered bees visiting large tracts of the Riversidian sage scrub plant community near Etiwanda, California.

Honey varieites include California buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum) and California sagebrush (Artemesia californica), two of the dominant species of this alluvial sage scrub plant community.
