The Imbabura tree frog

The Imbabura tree frog

The Imbabura tree frog (Hyla picturata) occurs in lowland forests of northwestern Ecuador. Suction cups on the end of each toe help it to grasp leaves. This frog was photographed during a biological survey by Ecuadorian herpetologists.
