Bullfrogs in the Amazon

The American bullfrog (Rana catesbiana) is ranched heavy in some communities in northern South America. Relatively speaking, it's a good alternative meat source compared to the impacts cattle have on fragile rainforest soils. The exception is when these bullfrogs escape their production pens and bully or eat the native amphibians.
